Nuclivision is a Ghent-based MedTech startup, active in the field of nuclear medicine and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Their mission is to make nuclear medicine safer, more cost-effective, and more efficient for both patients and clinicians.

Nuclivision is currently in the product development phase, marketing an innovative medical software device for PET image enhancement. The technology nuclivision is pioneering has the potential to revolutionize the management of positron emission tomography (PET) scans, which are critical in diagnosing, treating, and monitoring cancer, Parkinson’s, and inflammatory diseases. By potentially reducing the amount of time and radioactive tracer dosage needed during PET scan acquisition, their product promises to deliver enhanced efficiencies.

Activities and description

Nuclivision is trialing their solution in multiple PET imaging centers and is currently proceeding in acquiring ISO 13485 and CE certifications. Market entry is envisioned late 2024. In parallel, an image analysis product is in the product pipeline.

Targeted market

Nuclivision’s target market comprises nuclear imaging facilities, ranging from nuclear medicine departments in hospitals to private centers.

Ongoing projects/partnerships/collaborations

Nuclivision is working closely with private and university hospitals for validation purposes, the university of Ghent for research, and industry partners for go-to-market activities.
